Please Consider:
- Are you in immediate danger? If you are in immediate danger or seriously injured, you can contact the emergency services on 999 (or 112 from a mobile phone).
- Find a safe space. If an incident has just happened you may want to find a safe space to be, this may involve being with a trusted friend or family member who can be with you and look after you.
Report
Depending on the incident you should consider if you need to report the incident that happened to you.
You can do this using the following ways:
- Report and Support. Students, staff and visitors can report an incident using the University’s Report and Support system. You can choose to do this anonymously or you can choose to access support. If you report anonymously we will not be able to act on your report since we do not know who you are.
- Reporting an incident on placement - students attend placements in a wide range of settings including the NHS, Local authority and the voluntary and private sector. All are required to have reporting policies in place. If an incident takes place in one of these settings you must also report it to your placement provider. We know this can be challenging and staff at ENU can support you to do this. You can find out more about reporting in an NHS setting in this link.
- School Office or Placement coordinator. You can report directly to your placement coordinator and the school office using this link
